looking for recovery disk

I have a Compac Presario S5200NX with Windows XP and looking for Recovery Disk.  I am unable to download because I have a MAC laptop. I would like to be directed to the web site where I can purchase the disks. Any help would be appreciated

Is there a particular reason

Is there a particular reason you want a Windows recovery disk rather than Puppy Linux? If not, then use Puppy.

i agree

unless you absolutely need it, stick with puppy

i suggest you use wine

hope this might help

well, the puppy linux websites are not meant for help with windows, but i might be able to help.

1. Does your computer have a recovery partition or manufacturers recovery disk, if so you should use that.

2. I do not know if you can buy recovery disks, but if you are very despirate and absoluetly need windows, you could buy a copy of XP (if they still sell it) or if you REALLY need it, vista (i hated vista when i got it, and that's why i use Puppy, BobPup 0.2 to be exact)

I would reccomend trying WINE first. You can probably find a dotpet for it on the forum

Miceosoft Site

You could download a set of XP floppies for free at the Microsoft Support site.

uhh

i don't think that's a recovery disk set. It's likely a boot disk set (micro$oft would never actually give people windows, yu always need to buy it because they are a commercial beast) but it's worth a shot.
