What are the goals?
* Easily install to USB, Zip or hard drive media.
* Booting from CD (or DVD), the CD drive is then free for other purposes.
* Booting from CD (or DVD), save everything back to the CD.
* Booting from USB Flash drive, minimize writes to extend the life indefinitely.
* Extremely friendly for Linux newbies.
* Boot up and run extraordinarily fast.
* Have all the applications needed for daily use.
* Will just work, no hassles.
* Will breathe new life into old PCs
* Load and run totally in RAM for diskless thin stations

"I stated awhile back that I would not forget the Puppy 3 series, so here is 3.02alpha1.
It has many features of Dingo back-ported.
I have very limited time right now as I have a lot of things
to do prior to my holiday (starting this coming Tuesday)
so alpha1 has had only basic testing and I have added
a small selection of the latest packages. Get it from here:

How do I get involved?
- We need artwork
- The SFS installer needs a coder
- Create, compile or edit applications ready to be put in TalkingStick (see TalkingStickIdeas)
- Volunteer programming skills in other areas of the creation of Talking Stick
- Work on wiki entries
- Help create new offline webpage
What skills are required?
- Optimised compiling, advanced Bash scripting and all sorts of programming skills.
- HCI skills: Graphics, GUI design
- Project Management
- Distro packaging
- Documentation
- Testing
- Maintenance and service packs
