TigerPup is a new pupplet based on Compiz-Fusion and Puppy 3.01. Created to be point and click, TigerPup uses a dockbar, and has launchers on the panel to make it easy to use from a usb-flash. Our main wiki page is: http://www.puppylinux.org/wiki/archives/old-wikka-wikki/categoryreleases...

Tiger 4

I love this flavour of Puppy.  I am just curious; is there a timeline for Tiger based on Puppy 4?

comment

looks great !!!!!

Glad you like it!

Glad you like it! Compiz-Fusion hasn't been ported to Puppy 4 yet, thus I've not moved TigerPup. When Compiz-Fusion is sorted, TigerPup 4 will come out. Cheers!

Very nice

This one is wicked cool.

One of the reasons I like Ubuntu is 'cause it's easy to get compiz-fusion.  This version rox :)  Just wish it was based on 4.00, there have been lots of improvements.

UPDATE

There was a bug in version 1.5 with the PetGet installer. This is now fixed in 1.6.

Other updates:

-pburn updated to 1.8.0
-TigerMac emerald theme added as default
-petget icon changed

~enjoy!

UPDATE

Updated now to version 1.5! This is a bugfix from 1.4. Enjoiy!

TigerPup

This is a great distro I got it going on a USB drive using loadlin and have added more programs and plan to keep using it. However I keep losing the button bar and have to revert to xvesa now and then. I would appreciate some help in this matter if possible. Thank you and thanks for a great distro.
