How do I set PSIP up?

Register your Softphone name∞

This prevents the need for Gizmo installations

Click on configure / Edit Account

from main menu and add Gizmo account / SIP details

Example of 'Edit Account'?

Change 'Your Sip URL:'
eg. sip:charnisingh@proxy01.sipphone.com

and 'Username' to for example
charnisingh

add your gizmo password
other settings stay the same

then click on [OK]

OK configured, now what?

The latest PSIP has four buttons or labeled text

CALL (Green button) - make a call, select who you wish to call and click OK,
the person will contacted or their voice mail activated if not available
Press Hangup to finish the call
ANSWER (Orange button) - If you hear someone calling you press answer to connect and hangup when finished
HANGUP (Red Button) - Ends call
CHAT (Blue Button) - Text chat if audio is not clear

How do you retrieve Gizmo voice messages?

select Gizmo Voicemail on the presets menu
this gives you access to any voice messages
use the numbers buttons to drive the menu,
it is normal not to hear the tones they generate

How do I make a conference call?

To set Up conference: click on Presets, select Conference
When asked, enter a conference number
If you don't have one click on 0 to receive a number
Write it down or memorize it

Check who is online
Send them each a Text Chat message with the conference number
They select presets > conference and type in the number
Soonr they will be connected to the conference . . .

To leave the conference simply hangup
If the conference organizer hangs up, everyone will be disconnected
