- for video playback choose one of the following options:
- ffmpeg, with ffplay as defaultmediaplayer
- vlc, with vlc as defaultmediaplayer
- mplayer, with mplayer as defaultmediaplayer
- mplayer, with smplayer or gnome-mplayer as defaultmediaplayer
- verify installed version:
mplayer -v
